I say we all start adding comments to their recent games asking them to join the postal tournament. If they get enough people asking they might be persuaded to join.

Blue22 is in !!! It's great news for Arimaa that the most extreme attacker will be testing his ideas on the big stage. I've put comments on games of Belbo and Megamau. We might all make a recruiting push in the last couple of days before the tournament starts.

Sweet! I just looked at how the ring will work out. It appears that if you draw a line between players 6 and 7 (in the list ordered by rating) the person that you don’t play is the person that is the mirror of you across this line. With the current ratings, Fritzlein skips dtj, Adanac skips frostlad, ... I skip omar. It is a little strange and a lot disappointing to not get to face omar, but it does seem like this is the optimal choice of pairings to skip.
