Omar asked me for a ruling regarding the possible resumption of game 327822 (http://arimaa.com/arimaa/gameroom/comments.cgi?gid=327822).

After looking into the details, in this specific instance I feel the game should be resumed and played out if possible. If for whatever reason it does not work out for that to happen, then the game should be excluded from the screening results.

To be clear though, I explicitly do not mean to set a precedent that resigned screening games in general should be either resumable or excluded from the results.

Here's a non-answer to try and avoid giving the impression that I'm simply ignoring the above questions. ;)

I'm not in a position to give an authoritative answer to those questions and at the same time feel any personal opinion I post will probably be taken as authoritative in some way.

So please use your own best judgement as to what you think the community norms are.
