Shhhh ... milestone coming up.

So, I just noticed that Arimaa's tireless advocator Fritzlein is approaching 4,000 forum posts. That seems like an unreasonably fervent amount of posts to me ... many of which have occurred during what I will assume are normal working hours (oooops, what am I doing here?). 
It's highly likely that this milestone will be reached and passed (and in a very non-contrived way, without much fanfare) by the time most of you will see this. I don't know about all of you, but I find his dedication, generosity, humility, and knowledge to be quite special. I enjoy reading what he has to say tremendously and as a fan (of both the game and him) I say keep up the good work and congratulations!

I made my 4000th post this morning. It is very kind of you to classify my verbosity as generosity when it mostly arises from always trying to get in the last word!  The real champion of tirelessness is Arimaa itself, which is not running out or bogging down after tens of thousands of plays. Maybe someday it will suffer from the issues that have bedeviled other abstract strategy games, but for now it just keeps on chugging, as fresh as the day it was introduced.

Karl is amazing. I don't know how he does it. More amazing to me than how much he writes is how thoughtfully he writes each post. Maybe he has a few clones helping him out
