Title: Another new guy
Post by Nuevefactorial on Nov 21st, 2010, 10:57am
Hello there! I'm Nuevefactorial, from Costa Rica. Excuse my English; I'm a native Spanish speaker.

I was watching "Who wants to be a millionaire?" the other day and there was a question that said "who won the computer Deep Blue to?" so I looked it up in Google and I found out about Arimaa in Wikipedia.

I've always played chess (that doesn't mean I'm good at it) and Arimaa looked like fun, so I decided to play and looked up in Google a site to play it online. And here I am now.  :D

Welcome, 9!

I'd say more but I'm very busy with the movie right now.

Hey! You know Spanish! And you even know what "factorial" is! 98% of the people I know have no idea of what it is! lol

Good luck with the movie!  ;)

Perhaps welcome, 362880 would be more appropriate.

Haha! Yeah... Well... Originally, my name was going to be "nuevefactorialfactorial" (9!!) but it was too long so I left it just as "nuevefactorial".

I wanted to use that number 'cause it amazed me one day, when my proffessor told me that he and a friend had calculated the number of digits of it and they found out it had more than one million digits...

lol

Welcome to the community,
BTW: Ackerman function or the busy beaver one could fascinate you even more :)
