If you want to organize a challenge contest like idahoev did back in 2006 with some kind of conditions, you might get some interest, depending on what the conditions are. The hard part is to make the conditions difficult enough to be a challenge, but also not so obscure that it will still appeal to the most number of potential challengers and not take an inordinate amount of moves to achieve. |
| I have a very bad memory of idahoev's challenge because even though I won the all the bots even the ones where a record had been set previously by others and as agreed I won the prize twice. Not only did he manage NOT to give me the prize and not praise me for my accomplishment but he later insulted me by saying that I had ruined the challenge by discouraging anybody else from playing it. So, don't talk to me about idahoev, he's a despicable individual not worth the effort to spit on him.

I would certainly participate in any sort of friendly competition or "challenge". I can't think of any suitable challenge conditions though. It's been so long that I don't think many would mind if the same conditions were used. I will warn you all that I'm the type to take something like this a bit to seriously and work obsessively to win it, especially if there is other competition nearly as driven to win as I am.

How about a tournament to beat the most number of bots by elimination within a stipulated time. If 2 or more person has beaten the same number of bot, tie-breaker based on least average number of moves played.

I would say that beating a bot by elimination without any other constraints (like no other captures, within a certain number of moves, etc.) is hardly a challenge: When you are beating the bot, just don't go for the goal but keep on capturing its pieces...

| Ironically, the two challenges that idaohev set were intriguing enough and made for some interesting games . One was to win against a bot without playing more than three steps in a move (without the bot being restricted the same way as goes without saying ) and the second was even more difficult, it was to win without your elephant even going beyond your fourth row (so the elephant would be for defensive purposes only). The three step moves forced people to find some really inventive ways to do what would have been a piece of cake with four steps for instance. I did like these challenges, in spite of the rest.

I have few question: Who has taken less number of games to complete the bot ladder? Who has completed it in the shorter period? and Who has completed in fewest moves?

| Fastest in number of days to complete it or games or of added duration of the games or of total numbers of moves of all the games or of the added time it took him to start a game after he logged on?

Has anyone done the double elimination and double immobilization in one move And who will be declared as "Winner" on both cases?

| Don't know. [edit]aaaa[/edit] did it as shown 2 posts later The player who made the move. ... you mean making board empty? [edit] Oh there could be double immobilization without annihilation. But that requires passivity of the player with the strongest piece. MhC hD C [/edit]
