What's your Daligault number?

Same idea as Erdos number, replacing Erdos with chessandgo
My number is 2. chessandgo --> some people including Swynndla --> me
EDIT: Counting only event games? Sconibulus
Count only wins? Adanac
Only HvH games? thomastanck
If you count only event games, because I never participated in one I'm an infinity.
If you count the 2nd and 3rd conditions, I'm still a 2!

I assume you have to beat Jean to be a 1, or beat someone who beat him to be a 2, etc.? If so, congrats to Swynndla

Hm I don't know, I'm thinking as long as you played it counts... Sconibulus says maybe only count event games, because everyone would be at most a 4...
In that case, my number would be infinity.
Edit: counting only event games may make it too restricting... on a side note, swynndla won c&go when he first joined, and I beat swynndla once, but the play was so bad you can't really call it a game...

Maybe there should be an Junke (fritzlein) Number too - [young•key]. I mean, you couldn't have a Kasparov Number without an Karpov Number, right?
But both of those may be soon over-ridden by a Canadian upstart. How do you pronounce Adanac's last name?... lol

I pronounce it to rhyme with "dang" as in, "Dang, he beat me again!".
That reminds me of the confusion over how to pronounce the name of Max Euwe, one-time World Champion of chess. I believe that one grandmaster he frequently beat said it was pronounced "Oy vey!".

I thing the second syllabe is long. I am not good in fonetics. ... after d the sound is created in deap neck but with it almost closed ... I woud try to say it on teamspeak sometimes.. I asked him question about density of primes ... he answered, but imagine someone lookinng surprised when is asked what is the next natural number after 1 ... He was very good friend of Jaroslav Nesetril, and this is why he 'granddad' was so often in Prague. I have good chances to gain low Erdos number. ... Oh I am currently 3 ... Erdos->Rodl->Sgall->Majerech (thanks to my the only paper).

Thnx for clarifying how his name is pronounced, and I hope to hear you say it on teamspeak. Although, using my childish mnemonic device of simple one-syllable English words, I doubt I'll be able to find anything much closer. Heck, after hearing you say it, I probably won't even be able to pronounce it!
It would be cool to hear that you reached an Erdös 2, someday(!), but that window-of-opportunity is ever decreasing  Sadly, you can't reach a 1 anymore, of course, but you are still our greatest hope (so far) to reach a 2!
