I don't think anyone mentioned it when it happened: we now have a player who has completed more than 10,000 games on arimaa.com. Between his two accounts, Arifuddin Syed has played 10,442 games, so he must have passed the milestone a few months ago.

Having only played 1766 games myself, I stand in awe of this feat. Heck, even ShallowBlue, the current leader in total games, has only played 11,057. By this time next year, ArifSyed may lead all bots as well as all humans!

Yes, an awesome feat indeed. Being retired he does have a bit of a time advantage over the rest of us :-)
