Title: Elephant awayness
Post by aaaa on Mar 28th, 2015, 1:44pm
This table (http://arimaa.com/arimaa/mwiki/index.php/Elephant_awayness) gives measures to what extent a given player and the opponents in his games place and keep their elephant in what half of the board (with higher values meaning it being on the enemy half more often). A position is only taken into account if it is deemed sufficiently stable as assessed by its distance to any future capture and the end of the game. There are also separate figures for the phases before and after any capture has been made.
Have fun discovering any patterns.

Hi

see the designs of Elephant, Hawk, Leopard, Cannon, Archbishop and Chancellor.

They are all, new chess pieces that could be used in Arima.
