The player with the longest winning streak at the end of the month wins the Player of the Month Contest. The winner will receive a prize of $30 USD.
Anyone can participate and there is no entry fee.
- Must be a rated game; unrated games are not counted
- Winning more games against a player who is already in your winning streak does not increase your streak; nor does it break the streak if you lose.
- Draws do not break the streak or increase it
- Rated games played against bots (programs) are counted
- Game must begin and end within the same month
- Postal games that are rated are also counted if they begin and end within the same month
- Games played against new players who have played less than 2 games are not counted
- In case of a tie for the longest winning streak, the one who played most recently wins
- The contest is only for human players; bots are not elegible for the award
To enter the contest just go to the Arimaa Gameroom and start playing. You can also view the most current standings there.
Please don't abuse the contest by playing rigged games. It will spoil the fun for everyone.
