Arimaa Videos on Youtube

This is pretty blatant self-promotion, but this seems like the subforum to do it in. Well, I've decided to record an Arimaa video. Full disclaimer here: I could make a run for worst Arimaa player ever, so don't expect grand strategies by, well, _any_ standards. Here's the video if you don't mind watching a bad player give flawed commentary on his badly played game of Arimaa for 30 minutes: https://youtu.be/3Nn54xqgJNE I hope to do more of this, though probably not on any sort of schedule. Oh, and if anyone starts uploading Arimaa videos themselves, please send me a message on Youtube. :) I'd love for more (hopefully some better than me) people to start uploading Arimaa videos.

I like the idea of ingame commentary. We could even do that live on twitch or something though that probably wouldn't be worth it. But on YouTube it seems to be a good idea. What might make sense is to explain the rules at the start. I thought of Gorgon's intro which I quite liked. And of course get stronger players doing it. If I get a real headset one day I might do it but my current micro is one I built myself, so its not very handy...

It's something I've tried a few times, but I never produced anything I was very happy with. Here is an example that is conveniently already up.

| I just used the built in microphone of my computer and there's white noise throughout the video, so don't worry too much about audio quality. If they're anything like me, I think the people who want to see Arimaa videos are people who will take whatever they can get even if it's not as high quality as some chess or go content producers.

| Thanks for the link. EDIT: You should do some against people or stronger bots. And I liked the video, are you sure you're not being hard on yourself when you say you've never produced anything you're very happy with?
