I have to use my spare computer for computer go testing for a while, so my Arimaa programs won't be available. Go players can try the go program ManyFaces at the Internet Go Soerver (IGS).
Once the computer championship is over, I think Omar will make bomb available.

This is sad news for many of us, but anyway I'm glad you devoted more time to bomb this year than originally anticipated.
If our only Bomb-derivative available for playing is what Omar will publish after the challenge match, then that will be all the more impetus for getting varible-speed challenges working and different ratings for different speeds.

Gnobot can play at any regular time limit - the program does not have to be adjusted, it will just read off the time controls. So Omar can choose to publish a whole range of time controls if he likes.

Once I finish the computer go release, I should work on bomb again. I made enough progress this year, that I think I can make it pretty strong. It still has too many huge strategic issues, and I know how to make it search deeper.
I signed up for th epostal tournament, so that should keep up my interest in Arimaa.
