Best wishes to Occam and Bomb (and Haizhi?). I just hope GnoBot doesn't make too much of a fool of itself!

Thanks. Anything can happen in a tournament with such a small number of games. since no program has 100% perfect chance of beating another. It's too bad the games are 8 am GMT, since I will be asleep.

| Yes, that is a bit of a difficult time for the american viewers! I would have thought 8pm GMT would suit most people better?

Yes, that is quite unfortunate, since robots can play at any time, but people usually must sleep during the night.

Yeah, what's up with that? It still has 3 am ET for the game time.

Now the games are being played out of order. Any chance they can be moved to different times so we can watch as well?

They just skipped the game that didn't work (for whatever reason). I believe it will be rescheduled, so hopefully at least that one can be at a better time.

No, they skipped a couple of games. Now everything's out of whack.

Both of Bomb's games with silver... apparently that was the source of the problem somehow. Looks like you chanced upon the current postponed game just as I did... seems quite an open game, though Gnobby was stupid at the start. David were you happy with getting one camel for a horse+dog? I personally don't think move 5b was good for bomb.

Yeah, glad I happened to be in the gameroom when the game was underway, and very nice that it was during the day when I could watch. The games I really want to see are the bomb-occam matchups though. That's going to decide it.

Well, I missed both of the Occam/Bomb games. The ICGA decided to run both games one right after the other without any notice. I must say that I was extremely disappointed with how this tournament was run. Anyway, congratulations to David and to his robotic masterpiece Bomb!

One of them was approximately at the usual time, the other followed straight on, perhaps because we were behind schedule? I think there were only one or two others (other than me) that saw any of these games at all.

(Copied from comment for game 5039) I must say, however, that I was extremely disappointed in how this bot tournament was run (by the ICGA I understand). They seemingly gave no consideration whatsoever to any of the people who might have wanted to watch these games. Not only were all the games scheduled in the middle of the night for US residents, but then they didn't even follow that schedule, and started games at arbitrary times without notice. Very poor!
