Note that one game, bot_bomb vs. MrBrain, is missing from the standings. I searched for the game in my database, and couldn't find it there either. There were two anomalies in all of MrBrain's games in that tournament. First, MrBrain couldn't start moving right away (like purplebaron this year) and after a bit he was erroneously awarded a forfeit in all of his games when he still had time on his clock. All the games had to be restarted. Second, MrBrain later resigned all of his games in one day, in frustration that he kept making moves in the actual games when he thought he was making moves in the plan window. However, this doesn't explain the absence of the one game in the database, as all nine of his other games are there. Perhaps it has something to do with Bomb being a bot. In any event, for the record, Bomb actually won 4 games rather than 3 as the standings say. If Bomb were playing this year, I bet someone would test the viability of Bait and Tackle at postal speeds! Bomb put up a rather mediocre performance in 2005 despite thinking (iirc) 3 hours per move.
