Could anyone offer some advice on this game? http://arimaa.com/arimaa/games/jsShowGame.cgi?gid=271251&s=b Any advice would be helpful, but I'm specifically interested in the situation around move 29. On one hand I felt like I had the bot penned in, but on the other hand, I didn't see any way to make progress. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

That's a tough one. It is difficult for you to make progress since your own rabbits are blocking you on your fifth rank. After move 29g you will probably eventually need to sacrifice material- advancing another rabbit into the fifth rank was a serious mistake. The best plan for 29g I can currently see is to work on eventually flipping your e5 rabbit to g5 and either taking some key squares on the sixth rank or flipping out some silver pieces for capture in your home traps.

I would rotate out gold Elephant from f5 safely - then within few moves gold can get E to c5 replacing Camel and winning the game convincingly and comfortably.

Thanks for the advice. Hippo also pointed out I missed a win-in-one on move 58g.
