Playing on site games with smartphone/tablet

Maybe anybody discussed that issue elswhere but I couldnīt find it at first glance. I would like to play some live game on my smartphone (android OS). At the moment Iīm not able to enter a single move since the click-and-arrow in the game client window does not accept my move (if I move a piece at step 1 and would like to move another piece at step 2, I have to select the second piece and the first step is undone immediately). Anybody has a hint/solution for that problem? Thanks in advance Odin

You simply have to deactivate expert mode; If you are using expert mode, by clicking on a piece, one step is taken back, by clicking on a trap square, the whole move until then is taken back. I have no problems using android when I have the expert mode off.

Hello Samuel, thanks for the hint. I just played a game without expert mode. Although itīs a bit tyring to click all pieces and I donīt get it why the expert mode is a problem for a touch screen it works fine now. Maybe that issue should be considered when one day a new client is made Meanwhile many people use tablets, a new site/client may help Arimaa to become more popular. From this perspective, lightvector did probably a great job to implement his bot on android (and the touch panel). Odin

I actually have plans to make my app have the ability to connect to the gameroom or otherwise allow players to play games online, after the CC is over. I haven't worked out the technical details, but one way or another, I plan to make it happen.
