I would like to suggest that in case of clock going down to zero game system should accept the last layout of pieces made by human player as a move. Missing to press "send" button can result, in situations like in above game, in quite frustrating losing, even in clearly won games. http://arimaa.com/arimaa/gameroom/comments.cgi?gid=203084

It is rather complicated as there is the net separating your computer from the server. In lightning games with bad connection it would mean the bot could gain negative time for thinking ...

Thanks for the suggestion. I was also considering this. We did put this feature in the iPhone app. Although sometimes it might still not help because the net connection might be bad.

I assume you lose by illegal move if you do not change the board position or are in the middle of a push?
