It's definitely not too late to sign up, but let me put in a pitch that you might get more playing time if you sign up with the Rockies instead. Over at the Rockies I create major budget troubles every time I play (2650), and we need under-2000 players to balance it out. And if I don't play, we sometimes don't even have three volunteers! Meanwhile the Altantics biggest budget-buster is rabbits (2320) which creates fewer troubles for them and leaves them more in a position to field their three strongest volunteers. Of course the Atlantics are a warm, friendly team to play for; I just thought I'd let you know about the playing time the Rockies have to offer...

Hmm, well Fritz actually has me convinced now. Thanks for accepting me, Novacat, but I think I will go with the rockies... Either way, I look forward to playing some good games of Arimaa against human opponents.

Woohoo! The power of being pushy!  I'm sure the Atlantics won't feel too bad given how they whipped the Rockies in both of the 2010 seasons.
