Thanks for the link to an interesting read. As a casual Dominion player myself, I would like an opportunity to play against the AI that these folks evolved. They said only that their AI was "challenging" for human players, so I suspect that I could consistently win more than my share. (There is also an evolved Puerto Rico AI available on the Internet that is challenging, but I evolved myself to win 45% of 5-player games against it.) Do you know where (if anywhere) their Dominion AI is available?

No, I don't unfortunately know whether it is available for play but there's this page: http://gameprogrammer.dk/dominion His email is at the top right. Maybe he would be willing to publish it?

Wow, I discovered Dominion only a few days ago, it's amazing. I'm completely addicted. Dominion AI seems like a very interesting challenge as well from my noob perepctive.

Yes, I have gotten sufficiently hooked on Dominion to buy two expansions (Intrigue and Prosperity) in addition to the base game. The only major flaw I find in Dominion is that it is a card game, i.e. luck plays an enormous role. However, a poker player shouldn't mind that given the many ways one has to express skill within variance. Now if only there were on-line Dominion gambling sites where you could make a living. (You might be interested in playing on BrettSpielWelt if you don't play there already, but alas no money changes hands. http://www.brettspielwelt.de/?nation=en )

Oh, I'm playing at http://play.goko.com/Dominion/gameClient.html. And yeah, obviously it's all about % of chance to win (or average point difference? That'd be a slighlty different way to play). And as a poker player I'm fine with that indeed It's even better for bots, thay really can play tons of games to have significant sample size.
