I was under the impression that the code to toggle standby did not update all the necessary variables that will be tested for a fetch request to actually be sent. I must be wrong, since it works just fine. Sorry, I am just being confused. In a few weeks I will have some time again to devote to the chat room, I can't wait to show screenshots of the new interface and hopefully trigger feedback and suggestions for improvement

I am resuming work on the new chatroom DOM object and I have a few questions about the server side: Since multiple chat instances (on a single web page or separate pages) are now supported client side, what do you think would be the best way to make it work with the current server and the new server projects? In addition to managing separate logs (gameroom, game instances, other?), do you think online users management should be kept on each instance -- or dropped entirely?
