- Left side buttons
- [Start] - Used to start the game after both players have joined.
- [Send] - Used to submit the move.
- [Take Back] - Used to undo your last move.
- [Resign] - Try to play games to completion; resigning is discouraged.
- [Options] - Not yet active; reserved for future.
- [Help] - Shows this page.
- [Plan] - Opens another window to plan a move by playing both sides.
- [Quit] - Closes the game window, but game is still active.
- Arrow buttons
- < - Undo a step
- > - Redo a step
- << - Go back in the move list to the previous position.
You can also click in the move list to go directly to a position.
- >> - Go forward in the move list to the next position.
- |< - Go back to the begining of the game.
- >| - Go forward to the most current position.
- Show>> - Go forward one move by animating the move.
If already at the last move, replay the last move.
- Starting a game
If the Start button is active, click on it. Otherwise you may be waiting for an opponent to join.
- Setting the pieces
When it is your turn to setup the pieces, the stronger pieces will appear and you can rearrange them to set your initial position. You can either drag and drop the piece or you can touch the piece and then click on the highlighted square to move it to. After setting the pieces, click on the Send button and the weakest pieces will automatically be placed in the empty squares before the move is sent.
- Making a move
When it is your turn to move a blue bar appears on your side of the game board. You can then move the pieces a total of 4 steps and then click the Send button. You can move the piece either by dragging and dropping it on a highlighted square or by touching the piece and then clicking on a highlighted square. The number of steps remaining is shown below the board.
- Timers
When it is your turn to move the 'Move' timer begins to count down. When it reaches zero the 'Reserve' timer begins to count down. When it reaches zero you will lose for not making a move in time.
