So far, Gnobot does the same, currently up to 13 steps (30 minutes). Not sure I'll make 16 on the laptop.

Ron, this is a very good line and Camelback's proposal rules supreme, but there's no point in being so materialistic after 45g Ee3s Ee2w rf2w Rf1w - instead of capturing, we can perform e->e3 and d->g2 (45s: dg3s eg4w ef4w ee4s). A classic win-win situation: Gold H and C win their freedom as they become unfrozen - and we win the game  .
