you are against a schedule, then? I was just thinking if the two players would give others a warning in case anyone wanted to watch but it really wouldn't matter I suppose because people could always play it back later just as easily. so disregard that. I also think 2 games is better than one. In my case, I often blunder in a time crunch and would usually want a rematch. <grin>

| Well, this is a good idea : let's say that if two players agree in advance on the time of their game(s), they can post it here, so that other people might want to watch ... As for Bobble ... I don't know if you're 18, but I know that someone whose behavior can be descripted by a small set of rules can't really be expected to behave ... for the moment : 2 votes for 2 games

Ok, apparently there are no new request or complaint, so let's begin the tourney ; If other players want to come, they can do it during this week or the following. If you agree in advance when you play, you may post it here, and send me a message with your result when it's over. Have fun folks !

| Hi Paul, what do you mean with that I only read the "lets go" I think I read all your messages (but really I don´t remember if there was any others) I think our game could be counted as tournament-game. Just FYI for all my opponents - all games I ever played or I will play could be counted as tournament-game (in whatever tournament) It remains one question - who has "the duty" to deliver private message to Jean. I propose "the duty" same as in chess - so winner (in rare cases of draws it should be player with gold pieces).

Thanks Paul Oh, one last thing : please indicate the game number as well as the result. I'll try to maintain the table, and the list of the game numbers so that they can be replayed.

I don't get why the last row gets on top of the table, and why the [\td]'s are displayed at the end of the rows ... I'll add a score column when I have understood how it works

Jean, the problem is carriage returns. put the entire table in a single unbroken string, and it works. ... also removed table ... jean, might you want to put the table in the very first post, and just keep editing that, rather than have a bunch of tables floating through the thread? (hmm, is that like houses floating through the clothesline? ..)

| Hmm, I got the tournament standings for the lightning tournament to work with carriage returns after each row where you would expect them. Which is not to say that I can explain why Jean's table was not displaying correctly. I tried to fix the problem by adding whitespace, and it almost worked: [EDIT] removed table to prevent confusion with the real standings [/EDIT]
