trying to figure out how to add the game I lost as gold to Fritz (35601) ... is it as above, or the reverse?

You entered it correctly.  You played Gold, so it is the first game of our two in your row and the second game of our two in my row.

Sorry, a mistake in Firtzl's row. Btw, apparently you guys decided to mention tournament games in the comments ; as long as I don't miss some it's ok, but if you see a result missing, tell me.
And indeed silver is winning so far Smiley

I claim the first victory as gold Smiley
It's good that silver stopped winning at one point, because having 8 players tied would have made me slicing the prize in parts of $3,75 .... Smiley
And I see Karl has tackled seriously with playing the under 1800 players right now, for fear they become stronger than him in one month Wink

I'm going to leave the (light) burden of updating the results and taking care of the tourney in any other way to Nick (you're already doing it well, so I guess you'll be ok with this, Nick). I'll paypal him the prize for the tourney, and he'll hand it to the winner(s).
I forfeit the games I've not played so far.

Have fun everyone

what ? You must be kidding ... and it is not even a good joke  Undecided

EDIT:

Since Jean did resign 2 postals he was rather clearly winning it must be assumed that this was no joke Sad
I absolutely do not know what happened since I was under the impression that Jean had a lot of fun with arimaa and the community and I honestly had a lot of fun with Jean.
I loved those wonderful games even though to my astonishment he actually kicked my but most of the times we played ... that by itself was not unusual, since other people can do that as well, but he certainly was the fastest learner I ever met in this highly abstract and not really easy to master game.

I wish that whatever misunderstanding happened here can be cleaned up ASAP and if I was in any way part of it please tell me so.
I do know that in chatrooms as well as in real life people do not always understand my jokes as jokes so I do hope that I did not say something wrong.

If Jeans action is final then I will herewith forfeit all other games in this tournament as well.

I agree, that he should reconsider.

so I guess we have a list of games to play yet. are there any not shown here that have been played?
Dorian should I add a row (back) to the list? it would mean you would have to start playing vs humans..

I guess I should have asked, do Jean's games count? if they do, then disregard my edit and go with the original table for now. anyone care to vote, or does the backup director Karl have an official opinion ?

Since both of his opponents scored 1-1, I don't think you should either reward or penalize them by giving others 2-0 or 0-2.  In my opinion it's fine just to scratch those games from the list as you've done.

ok good because he actually had 3 opponents and one of them lost twice. Smiley
but I suppose I have not much of a chance as I also lost twice to fritz.

so, more games needed still...
