My weekend of July 3 will be away from any computer and internet connection, unless someone there happens to have an iphone of such. I can't change that, it was scheduled half a year ago. But I'll be advertising Arimaa on that week end with a game set and kids to play against. And my thoughts will be to the Europa team even if I can't watch the games.

When is this last round exactly? As for every other round, I've hopelessly browsed through the AWL pages without finding a schedule So would it be from Thurdsday 1st to monday 5th ?

| It's on the Fixtures List. Maybe I should have made it a more obvious title for people not used to league sports.

Hi all, I've submitted our roster for the last round. Good luck to all players! I'll be on vacation this weekend, so I won't be able to follow the games at all. I'd also like to announce that I'll be retiring as Captain of Europa, starting tomorrow. In the event that World League 2 starts up sometime soon, you guys will need to democratically elect a captain. Go Europa! Greg

| Anyone from the team can be captain. It's more a question of being willing to organize and rally the team than actual Arimaa prowess. FYI

| Sure. I was just probing the field Jean being a math freak, I thought he might enjoy the complicated point investment calculations that are made on each round

Leo, would you like to be captain? You know the drill, message/email the players to see who's available each round and do a bit of cheerleading. That's it really. Either way you guys need a captain or something within the next couple of days.

wow, I hadn't noticed the "Second Season" thread, did the League start yesterday? Also, if nobody volunteers and we have to have a captain of some sort, I can take it. But I'm currently away on Chile, with shaky internet connection prospects, so I'll be hugely relieved as soon as a real captain steps up for this Second Season.
